Echoing the spirit of the 1950s, often hailed as a pivotal era for modern civilization where shifts in various professions enriched the cultural depth—Hua Shan Din by Cosmos Creation stands as a testament to the elegance and glory of a bygone era. Once an electronics store and a bank vault, it has evolved over time into a design-centric cultural and creative hotel, complementing the exhibition concept and offering viewers not just an exhibition but a profound spiritual journey.
Creative Concept
About the Artist – Rourou Xiao
Born in Hualien, I have been immersed in painting since my early formative years.
My life’s journey once took me to Myanmar, and later to Uji, Kyoto, where I studied the art of Japanese painting. Eventually, I returned to my hometown of Hualien to continue my creative pursuits. These elements, combined with profound reflections on life experiences, infuse my paintings, allowing me to communicate deeply with every soul through my art.

Creative Concept
“ I place a part of my soul within each painting,
where every canvas hides a fragment and whispers a story. ”
For me, each creation is about destruction and rebirth, akin to life’s moments in the abyss. Yet, it is often by confronting the darkness that we find the path toward light. While previous works celebrated moments of rebirth, today, I convey the feelings that exist before the emergence into light, hoping to inspire everyone to bravely stride forward into exciting possibilities ahead.
